A fiberglass plant in North Mississippi contacted us with severe corrosion issues in regards to the electrical equipment that they own, which powers their plant. They had been replacing equipment - not due to failure, but corrosion. We scheduled a site visit to see what we could do to help solve their problem.
Upon inspection, we found one of the worse cases of corrosion we'd ever seen outside of the coastal areas. All 4 of the switchgear had the same issue, each one worst than the last. The customer said that the switchgear in question were only 6 years old. It was determined due to their environment - to go with our 10X Advanced Coating.
